Summer goes by way too fast

This Summer was crazy busy with family events and a couple bike jobs too. Haven't been able to update in a while but here we go. I'm a simple man so I will put as many pictures as possible. Liam is 2 now and he loves being out in the garage with me. My wife Anna is knocked up again so she doesn't come out to the garage to have a drink with me anymore. My brother Victor and my mom opened up a Mexican restaurant in Janesville Wi. That about covers the crazy shit going on right now, but now for the motorcycle stuff. (the good stuff)

2000 Electraglide Classic

I had a guy bring me a 2000 Elctraglide Classic, you cant tell in the pic but the front end was crashed, and the paint job was the worst I have ever seen. Angel (the owner) wanted to make it look cooler more like a street glide. I told him no problem to everything he wanted but he needed to be ready to spend some coin. It was all easy bolt on work but it came out really nice. he was very pleased with the bike.

Here it is torn down.

Finished Product.

My buddy Brad bought a really cool 1969 Yamaha YR1 350 two stroke. The bike is really fast and has a great look to it. for how old it is it runs and drives great.

I haven't had much time to work on my own stuff but but My buddy Brad and I worked on  a cool way to do my seat suspension and we came up with this really cool design. The suspension for the seat came from a model A bumper. I cut the bracket out of 1/4" domex steel. The bracket acts as a motor mount seat mount and I will use it to mount the oil can.

.

Other things going on this summer.

Finally got my shed built to give me some more room in the garage.

Liam loves to wrench on his bikes

Liam as a monkey for Halloween
Anna made up a pub crawl for us to do on the bagger.

Salty Dog # 3

I started working on # 3. I have some really good ideas for this build. This is some pics of the start of the project. Plus I have some other jobs at the same time. just bought an 86 Electra glide classic on the cheap. just needs a new starter. My buddy Jim Francis from Rockstar Tattoo just bought a cool XS650. He brought it in so I can hide some wiring and fix a couple of things.

Hooked it up with a springer.

Ive been trying to come up with something cool for the seat suspension but still not sure about it.

My very own Harley. Just cant afford the starter!

Liam loves being out in the garage wrenching with me. I love it.

My buddy from work brought his sporty in. fixed an exhaust leak.

My buddy Jim just bought this fun toy. brought it over for some clean up.

The builder (who ever you are) left me this rats nest.

I cleaned it up the best I could without rewiring it.

She lives again.

I had a couple of issues when trying to start it, but it turned out to be very simple fixes.  She sounds good and runs very strong. I cant wait to take it for a ride and see how she handles. I knew these XS650's shook a lot but holy shit I couldn't even see straight when I was sitting on it.
